Dys Keyboard Privacy Policy

Summary

Dys Keyboard does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or usage data. The app and its keyboard work entirely on your device. We have no servers that receive your data, and we use no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies of any kind.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect any personal information, contact information, identifiers, location data, health data, usage data, diagnostics, or any other category of data. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to store, share, or sell.

What you type

The keyboard processes the characters you type only to display them and to provide on-device features such as larger keys, colour-coding, and layout. Your keystrokes and the text you enter are never recorded, never stored by us, and never sent off the device. Dys Keyboard makes no network requests that contain anything you type.

"Allow Full Access"

iOS may ask whether to grant the keyboard "Full Access". Dys Keyboard requests this solely for on-device features:

• Shared settings — so your preferences (for example haptic feedback on/off, theme, and onboarding state) set in the Dys Keyboard app are available to the keyboard extension. These are stored locally on your device in a shared app group and never leave it.
• Haptic feedback — the subtle vibration when you tap a key.

Full Access is not used to collect, log, or transmit anything you type. No data is sent anywhere when Full Access is enabled.

Third parties

Dys Keyboard contains no third-party analytics, no third-party advertising, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. No data is shared with any third party for any purpose.

Children's privacy

Dys Keyboard is designed to be safe for everyone, including children. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases that target children, and no links or behaviours that send data to third parties.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete. Any settings the app stores are kept only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
