iMessage Connector
How it works
The steps, in order
- Copy one prompt
- Your agent sets it up
- It texts you
iMessage Connector links Claude Code, Codex or any MCP agent to Messages on your Mac. It tells you when a long job is done, takes instructions from your phone, and can sit in a group chat with your team, where a human can answer in the same thread.
Setting it up is one copied prompt: your agent installs it, walks you through the macOS permissions, lets you choose, conversation by conversation, what it may do, then proves it works with a test message.
The rules can only get tighter. Every layer of settings can take rights away, none can give them back, and a sealed policy needs a human at a real terminal to change. Agent messages start with 🤖, the first message to a conversation waits for your OK, and the decision log never stores the text of your messages.
It is honest about its limits: no group management, no pinning, no replies in a thread, and reactions do not work on recent macOS. Free, MIT licensed, and it runs entirely on your Mac.
