Pock — privacy policy

Connected Mate ("we", "our") has developed the Pock app ("the App") as a commercial application with optional in-app purchases. This page informs users of our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

1. Data collected

Pock collects no personal data.

All the financial information you enter in the app (amounts, account names, goals, income, expenses) is stored exclusively on your device (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch). None of this data is transmitted to our servers or to third parties.

2. Data storage

Data is stored locally on your device through:

  • the app's local storage (UserDefaults, SwiftData);
  • App Groups, for synchronization between the main app, the widgets and the Apple Watch.

If you use iCloud, your data may be synchronized between your Apple devices through Apple's private iCloud storage. In that case, the data is encrypted and managed by Apple in accordance with its own privacy policy.

3. Payment data

In-app purchases (the Pock Premium subscription) are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We have no access to your payment information (bank card, Apple ID, etc.).

4. Third-party services

Pock uses a single external service: the Frankfurter API (European Central Bank), to obtain currency exchange rates. This API receives no personal data from you. Only an anonymous request is sent to obtain the day's rates.

5. Cookies and trackers

Pock uses no cookies, no trackers and no analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Mixpanel, etc.). We do not track your use of the app.

6. Data sharing

We do not share, sell or rent any personal data to third parties. We simply have no data to share, since everything stays on your device.

7. Security

Although we store no data on our servers, we take the security of your local data seriously:

  • the app can be protected by a password;
  • Face ID and Touch ID are supported;
  • amounts can be blurred for discretion.

8. User rights

Since your data is stored locally, you have full control:

  • Access: all your data is visible in the app.
  • Modification: you can edit all your data at any time.
  • Deletion: you can delete all your data through Settings > Reset data, or by uninstalling the app.
  • Portability: you can export your data as a PDF (Premium feature).

9. Children

Pock is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
