Pock — terms of use

Please read these terms of use carefully before using the Pock app.

1. Acceptance of the terms

By downloading, installing or using the Pock app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the service

Pock is a personal wealth-tracking app. The App lets you:

track your accounts, investments and assets;
manage your recurring income and expenses;
set and track savings goals;
visualize how your wealth evolves;
check your finances from your Apple Watch and iOS widgets.

Important: Pock is a tracking tool. The information displayed in the App is based exclusively on the data you enter manually. Pock connects to no bank account and provides no financial, tax or investment advice.

3. User account

Pock requires no account creation. The App runs entirely locally on your device. No sign-up, no e-mail, no account password is required.

4. Premium subscription

4.1 Subscription plans

Pock offers an optional Premium subscription with two plans:

a monthly subscription, renewing automatically every month;
an annual subscription, renewing automatically every year.

Prices are displayed in the App and may vary depending on your country and local currency.

4.2 Payment

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when the purchase is confirmed. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.3 Renewal and cancellation

The subscription renews automatically at the price in force.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period.
No refund is granted for the unused part of a current period.

4.4 Restoring purchases

If you change device or reinstall the App, you can restore your active subscription through the "Restore purchases" button on the subscription screen.

5. Acceptable use

You undertake to use the App only for personal and lawful purposes. It is prohibited to:

attempt to decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer the App;
use the App for fraudulent purposes;
distribute, sublicense or resell the App.

6. Intellectual property

The Pock App, its design, its code, its graphics, its text and all the elements that make it up are the property of Connected Mate. The "Pock" trademark and the associated logo are trademarks of Connected Mate. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

7. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is".

Pock is a personal tracking tool. The tax calculations, currency conversions and estimates displayed are provided for information only and in no way constitute financial, tax or legal advice.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of exchange rates provided by third-party services (Frankfurter API / ECB).
We are not liable for financial decisions made on the basis of the information displayed in the App.
We are not liable for data loss resulting from a malfunction of your device, an uninstallation of the App or any other cause beyond our control.

In no event shall Connected Mate be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
